Tourism and Adventure

We fund new and existing projects that have a perspective to market Swaziland and support all types of tourism including rural based tourism. The projects must be designed to develop and educate the value chain in order and motivate more innovation and rural income generation especially to slow developing areas of the kingdom. The projects must however be packaged as a proper business that generated sustainable income and has good growth prospects. These projects must also meet the expectations and requirements of the sector as defined by the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, and overseen by the Swaziland Tourism Authority (STA).

Our Requirements

Applicant enterprises must satisfy compliance requirements towards corporate governance conditions, statutory requirements, and must possess concrete financial commitment of the shareholders. The target projects must also exhibit substantial underlying economic merits with respect to profitability and sustainability, be environmentally compliant and have strong positive social benefits.
